Hi gals! Today I will share my new loved body scrub that I have been using for 2 weeks and I think it's time to share my verdict to all of you.
Asian Secret Lulur Indonesian Whitening Body Scrub, I have this one on purple plastic jar which contains:

• Licorice-Licorice's main component glycyrrhizinate has been proven to be an effective anti-inflammatory and moisturizer. Plus, it has the ability to brighten/lighten the skin and prevent further hyper-pigmentation.
• Mulberry Leaf Extract- Mulberry leaves are rich in arbutin, Vitamin A, Potassium, Phosphorus, Calcium and Flavones. it contain the highest levels of antioxidants. the antioxidants in mulberries can clear dark spots from the face and brighten the skin. Mulberries regulate melanin synthesis, thus reducing dark spots and blemishes.

The term Lulur refers to the Javanese term meaning "to coat the skin". It was traditionally given to young Indonesian women who were preparing to wed. The bride to be would be kept in confinement for roughly forty days receiving luxurious treatment surrounded only by women and preparing for pregnancy.

The SA told me Purple Jar focuses more on whitening, the Blue Jar has more on anti-Aging benefits while Green Jar contains Green Tea for relaxation purposes. I choose the Purple because I have this dark patches on my legs from skin rashes. since I like to wear short or skirt. :)

Actually I have no idea about this product then my best friend recommended this and according to hear it was endorsed by Solenn Heussaff, then this very nice Sales Agent advertising this product in Watsons tried on my hand to test the product. First she did the hand rub on her hands using alcohol then she used tongue depressor to get the product out from the jar, then using a clean cotton buds she rub the product in a circular motion which according to her is the best way to apply the product as it promotes blood circulation. Then she wiped the product using a clean tissue sprayed with water. I think this is worth mentioning (knowing I'm Nurse) because i think it's really nice she did it in a very hygenic way while she advertise and recommend the product. And also she said she really use this (the purple one) and it evens out her skin tone.

I use this before taking a bath, dry skin starting on the feet upwards in a circular motion to promote blood circulation while exfoliating your skin. what I love about this is after I washed it with water then used my favorite soap still the softness and silky texture remain, smells great too! after using it for 1 -2 weeks it does made my skin brighter and softer. It lightens my dark spot in my leg area. it gives a more healthy glow...

I absolutely love this product!!! and do recommend it!!! :)

Now it's time to share my new favorite sunblock product the Snoe Here Comes The Sunblock Instant Rosy White SPF45 with Singkamas and Arbutin. I know it's kinda hard or we're just too lazy putting sunblock, but with it's rosy white effect and smell you might love (or it's a must!) to put sunblock everyday.

I used this for 2 weeks whenever I go out, 100ml of product can take a long time to finish, a little goes a long way. Knowing I have to go soon in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (a very hot place!!). I need something to protect my skin and it's difficult to find a good product for my oily/combination skin.

It has a liquidy texture, it's easily absorbs in the skin, making my skin look brighter as u see in the 2nd photo. so you have to blend it immediately so it will not leave white streaks in your skin when it dries and not blended well.

What I love about it? It gives a natural dewy finish after 30 mins in my face but not oily. It brightens my skin. While it protects, it also whitens my skin. It can be used on the face (according to the SA) and body. It gives a good canvas for makeup. No breakouts. I love the smell! It has a combination of fruity to flowery smell...... And it's affordable only 299 Php.

Castor Oil: From Laxative to Natural Hair Treatment Oil

We all know that Castor oil as an effective laxative to relieve constipation, but now Castor oil is a well known natural hair treatment for severely damaged hair. 

I have a severe case of hair fall before, every time I wake up I can see more hair pieces from my pillow, floor and when I'm taking a bath I can see a lot of hair from the floor sink drain cover. And my Mom complains about  seeing to many hair from the cover sink, reminding me how severe my hair fall. 

I actually learned about the benefits of Castor oil from Michelle Phan's post in her website about a DIY Eyelash Serum natural recipe that can strengthen and grow your lashes (this recipe really works!) main ingredient of that natural eyelash serum is the Castor oil. And while reading comments one of them posted that she uses castor oil for her hair. The next day I buy 1 big bottle of Castor oil at Mercury Drug to use as an eyelash serum and hair treatment oil. I use it twice a week and it gives an amazing result on my hair! (eyelashes also!!!!).

I have lesser hair fall, it strengthens my hair, giving it a healthy feeling and healthy look on my tress! Before I have this bad hair days but now? even without combing it my hair looks tamed, or just letting my fingers do the combing.. and when someone touched my hair according to him it feels "lively" hahahaha... it's more softer, smoother... I have this mannerism of twisting my hair cause I love touching my hair and the feel of it now. It helps my hair grow faster without damage.

I use this twice a week, sectioning my hair into two, using my hands I massage it into the scalp also put some on my hair letting it sit overnight. I cover it using a silk scarf. then the next day just wash it with shampoo.

It's easy to find at your local drug store and very cheap! thus giving you amazing result. It can easily remove by washing it with your favorite shampoo. 

So rather than using harsh, expensive, chemically made hair care treatment products why don't give castor oil a try and see for yourself... :)

Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse Experience Review

Hi guy! I just want to share my experience about this product which now currently or just recently sold in the Philippines. I have been using this product last year while I was working in Saudi Arabia. Maybelline in Saudi Arabia updates their product according to what is currently released in Maybelline US (as far as my experience is concern..)  unlike here in the Philippines. And I haven't seen any of this product as I thought they will not release it or it's phase out... 2 straight years in Saudi and not updated in what's in? in our Philippine cosmetics until February 2013 I came here... But as far as my memory is concern Maybelline Ph just recently launched around June 2013.

Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse 67 SR (i think..)

I'm in Light no. 2 Classic Ivory

I'm not fond of using foundation I just use baby powder or Pressed powder but when I was in Saudi in Aseer Region (I'ts like a Baguio of Saudi) I have a very serious and very severe case of acne (I rarely have pimples on my face), I'm not sure of the reason... Food? (chicken! beef! chicken! chicken!), climate?, environment? stress?

Not only this is my main problem but the very dark almost black acne scars!! :(...

It will take a very long time, too many whitening products to lighten this scars. this makes my self esteem go down to zero. (It doesn't matter I'm fat as long as I have acne free skin.)

Aseer is like Baguio they have a cold climate the oxygen saturation in the air is low, so we easily get tired from strenuous activities. Oxygen in our blood circulation in our skin is low thus giving us a more darker scars,  darker patches from previous skin rashes.

While looking for solution to my severe acne problem I'm looking for an option to cover acne and acne scars. The 1st foundation I buy? Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse. I Love maybelline! I do! thats why I opted for products I could trust.

First time I put it on my hand and swatch it BAM! I love it! Yes it gives and airbrush finish! light weight and it matches my skin color (take note I have a more lighter skin color as I rarely go out and shopping in Saudi is at night time). the feeling is mutual and Instantly I buy it!

What I love about this product? the airbrush finish!!!! It covers my acne and acne scars, some of my Saudi female colleague says that my skin is better now than before... It gives a semi-dewy finish. It gives your face a healthy glow. Its easy to blend (I prefer blending it with my clean fingers). It's also light weight and I think it didn't give my skin a hard time cause while I was curing my acne it didn't make my acne worse. non comedogenic. It's easy to remove, water and facial cleanser will do.

What I don't like? its not long lasting :(.. I have an oily to combination skin but take note that Aseer region has a cold climate, Dry cold air.. as I describe it. I Don't sweat there actually. It smears... even if I set it with powder, thus giving my chinese collar uniform a foundation smear but I'm putting it only in my face. and when I touch my face I can have a finger print on the paper using the foundation from my face...

It doesn't keep the oil at bay. I really look very oily at the middle of work shift. I don't do retouch as I don't have time to do this, I just pat my face with tissue to remove excess oil, at the end of my work shift I can see my acne scars peeking through my foundation. 

I really do love this product I'm on my 4th bottle of this foundation before I opted for a product which is more suitable for my oily to combination skin, when I found it I never finish my 4th bottle of the Maybelline foundation. 

It just doesn't work on my oily skin, maybe if you have Dry to Normal skin it may work for you. Hope this review or experience-telling may help you...

Hi everyone! well actually this will be my first post. trying to review some of the make-up items i have used and soon to be used... then give you my very own opinion about it. So today I was in SM Marilao to buy some groceries, clothes and off course makeup!!! :)

Well according to the title itself the items I buy consist of Elf product and Essence products also, both are inexpensive but with quality... We Girls will keep on looking for item that can save as few pennies but can never go wrong with the quality...

Also I will try to post pictures and review of the makeups that I tried from revlon, maybelline, elf, the body shop, nyx, many more (some of this might not be available in the Philippines cause they release very limited.... take note: items that I've tried for so long in Saudi Arabia, has just been released in the philippines :(... )
